The Timmons Arts Foundation has a history of serving the community by supporting at-risk youth. Our efforts have been displayed through giving platforms for artists to showcase their talents at expos, hosting a Back to School Kids Fair for inner city kids, and donating money as well as instruments to local elementary schools. In an effort to continue our mission of impacting the community, we are hosting the Cultivating the Arts Youth Summer Camp. This summer camp will aid our young people in developing in areas of creative self-expression, self-definition, physical activity, and positive social action.

The camp will consist of 130 at-risk students, who will be granted admission to the camp free of charge. Campers will be instructed by trained professionals in Visual Art, Vocal Art, Instrumental, Dance, and Fashion Design. The students will also be instructed on how to live healthy and fit lifestyles. The camp will be conducted for a total of 4 weeks ending with a final showcase on August 3, 2018. This showcase will allow the students to highlight their artistic growth to the community.
